The Cottage is Over 3 Floors

On the ground floor you will find:

  • the fully equipped Kitchen where you will find all you need to cook
  • the Dining area where up to 6 guests can be seated to eat or play some games
  • the Living room has a large corner sofa to relax or watch TV
  • the Utility where you will find a second large fridge/freezer and a washing machine
  • a small Toilet is also present on the ground floor

On the first floor you will find:

  • a large bedroom with a king-size bed
  • a smaller bedroom with twin single beds
  • both bedrooms share the main large bathroom with shower and a bath

Going up a floor, you will find:

  • our main large bedroom with king-size bed and an en-suite, with beautiful views of our back garden.

Outside, on the back you will find our private enclosed garden.

Firstly you will find the patio area, where you can seat and eat alfresco. But if you travel further up the garden you will find the decking with a summer house which provides a breath taking view of Matlock. It is a wonderful spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking an amazing view the  beautiful Derbyshire countryside.

At the front, you will see our private parking area large enough for 2 cars with our new EV charger (Scan QR code for pricing), followed by our front open garden.

  • The cottage is situated almost opposite Smuse lane.
  • Some Sat Nav will have 'Twinning' cottages which we share the drive with.
  • As you turn onto the private drive immediately on the right, you will see our shared bottom gate and our 2 designated parking spaces.

Note: We only have parking for 2 cars. Any additional cars can be parked on the opposite on Smuse lane or on Alfreton Road toward Tansley where there is a small parking bay on the same side as the cottage. 

Note: This is not suitable for low profile vehicules.
